What it does

Sage helps you quickly understand incidents by:

• Generating a human-readable summary of what happened.
• Highlighting likely root causes and impacted assets.
• Proposing next steps or remediation ideas.

This reduces time-to-understand and makes incidents more accessible to stakeholders beyond the core data team.

How it works

• Sage uses an LLM hosted by OpenAI.
• It uses:
  • Monitor and incident metadata (names, descriptions, severities).
  • Relationships between assets and incidents.
  • Historical incident context where available.

Data handling

• Sage works on metadata and incident context only.
• No raw data rows are required or sent.
