Amazon QuickSight URI Format

The Uniform Resource Identifier (URI) definition for Amazon QuickSight follows this standard:

Identifier Fragments

• Namespace: quicksight://{accountId}.{awsRegion}.amazonaws.com
  • Scheme = quicksight
  • Authority = {accountId}.{awsRegion}.amazonaws.com
• Unique name: {dashboardId}

Dashboard URI Format

• quicksight://{accountId}.{awsRegion}.amazonaws.com/{dashboardId}

Instance URI Format

• quicksight://{accountId}.{awsRegion}.amazonaws.com

Parameter Limitations

• accountId is composed only of digits from 0 to 9
• awsRegion starts with a lowercase Latin letter and is composed only of lowercase Latin letters, digits and dash (regex: [a-z][a-z0-9-]*)
• dashboardId has universally unique identifier (UUID) format, which allows only lowercase letters from a to f, numbers, and dashes (regex: [a-f0-9-]+)
