Improved
Smarter Incident Grouping — Now Generally Available
about 2 hours ago by Antoine Lefebvre
Incident Grouping V2 is now available to all customers.
Related monitor failures are now grouped more intelligently based on their position in your data lineage. In addition to upstream and downstream assets, grouping now also covers sibling assets — tables that share a common upstream parent or are root tables in the same datasource/schema.
The matching rules have also been significantly expanded. Each monitor type now has tailored grouping criteria depending on the asset relationship (same asset, upstream, downstream, or sibling), so co-occurring failures that signal a shared root cause are reliably consolidated into a single incident rather than creating noise across multiple alerts.
