Improved
Incident-Centric Notifications are now Generally Available
1 day ago by Antoine Lefebvre
Incident-centric notifications and the redesigned notification templates are now available to all customers. After a private preview, there is nothing to request or activate: your notifications now tell you what is happening with each incident, across Slack, Email, Microsoft Teams and Google Chat.
What you get
- One set of notifications per incident. You are notified when an incident is created, when another monitor is added to it, and when it is closed (on every channel the incident has notified).
- Less noise. For an incident, only the first failed run of a monitor triggers a notification. Subsequent failed runs do not notify again until the incident is closed.
- Redesigned templates on Slack, Email, Microsoft Teams and Google Chat, including for monitors that do not create an incident.
- Threads and live updates. On Slack and Email, notifications about the same incident are grouped into threads, and the original Slack incident message is updated when the incident is closed.
